We wish to make you comfortable with asking questions and learning
all you can about your local health care opportunities.

Hospital Tours
Because Hunt Regional Medical Center is growing and because so
many people are not familiar with our new surroundings, we invite
groups to tour our new facilities. Depending on the availability
of the areas, we like to show off the new MRI, and the new Cancer
Center, for example.
We are proud of our growth and modern technology and want to share
it with you! To schedule a Hospital tour, please call between
8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday: 903-408-1064 or email
education@hmhd.org
We have a movie of "Mickey Mouse" touring "a hospital" for the
younger children. We can host evening tours for adult groups.
Geriatric Fall Prevention
Falls cause problems at any age.As we grow older falls
become a much more serious threat.
Falls are the most common cause of injury in older
persons, accounting for about 84 percent of hip fractures. More
than half of all fatal falls involve persons 75 years of age and

This program focuses on reducing injury by developing
good safety habits, as a result, decreasing health care and insurance
costs as well as improve the quality of life for older persons.
